Situational
assessment offers individuals the opportunity to explore their vocational
interests and employment strengths in various work settings (Situational
Assessment), develop vocational goals, and receive job development
and placement assistance.
The Arc of Ventura County's job development and placement services support
and assist participants in clarifying their vocational interests and
obtaining employment. Employment opportunities are created based on
the individual's job interests and the local job market. Job coaches
facilitate the process by which the employee is integrated into the
competitive workplace by providing training and support based on the
needs of the employee and the employer.
