The Arc of Ventura County offers Community Integration services in the cities of Ojai, Oxnard, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, Camarillo and Ventura. Each day, clients have a broad selection of activities to choose from, including employment training, paid employment opportunities, community college classes, self-advocacy, computer use, community excursions, dance, music, gardening, exercise, yoga, arts and crafts.

Our caring and experienced staff is dedicated to serving participants with a variety of physical, mental and social disabilities who require a higher level of support and supervision. Using a person-centered planning approach, The Arc of Ventura County promotes self-directed services for all cients and families served.

Adult Development Centers serve individuals with physical and mental disabilities, as well as people with challenging behaviors, who require assistance with basic skills such as self-care, feeding, and ambulation. Participants are taught functional skills applicable to everyday living, such as:

Hygiene and Grooming
Sensory Responsiveness
Gross and Fine Motor Skills
Social Interaction
