Executive Director

The Arc of Ventura County is seeking a strategic and visionary Executive Director to promote our mission and values and to lead the agency in providing quality services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

The Executive Director works in partnership with a volunteer Board of Directors to ensure mission alignment, fiscal soundness and establish strategic priorities. The Executive Director supervises and maintains strong relationships with staff, volunteers, funders, community, and political leaders.

The Executive Director is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, assuring that all services provided meet the standards of the people we support, their loved ones and our community.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in human services, public administration, business administration or a related field. May substitute relative experience for education. Minimum Bachelor’s degree required. Demonstrated leadership and coalition building. Demonstrates a strong commitment to improving and promoting quality of life for people with IDD.

The Arc of Ventura County was founded in 1954 and is headquartered in Ventura, California. We serve 700 adults with IDD in communities throughout Ventura County.

Salary range for this position is $124,800 – $166,400 DOE. Excellent benefits package includes health insurance, flexible spending accounts (FSA), retirement savings and paid time-off.
